Sr. Network Engineer — Full-time • US travel required • No telecommuting

Overview
Design and maintain the network backbone that powers daily operations across all franchise locations—POS, timekeeping, compliance terminals, and secure remote access—so stores run reliably without on-site IT.

Core Responsibilities

  • Deploy VLAN segmentation, site-to-site VPNs, and firewall zoning for secure, scalable connectivity.

  • Lead backend systems design for a centralized, ERP-style operational dashboard (inventory, labor coverage, equipment uptime).

  • Implement monitoring (SolarWinds, SNMP, NetFlow) to track bandwidth, uptime, and device health; enable predictive maintenance.

  • Deliver infrastructure analytics for CAPEX/OPEX planning (hardware lifecycle, bandwidth optimization, support incident trends).

  • Design and enforce access control: Active Directory, DHCP reservations, MAC filtering.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree + 1 year of experience in Electronics or Information Technology.

  • Hands-on with VLANs, VPNs, firewall zoning, SolarWinds, SNMP, NetFlow, AD, DHCP reservations, MAC filtering.
